Last weekend I send my cousin to Tune Hotels KLIA-LCCT airport, Malaysia. He arrived Low Cost Carrier Terminal LCCT at around 9:30PM, flown all the way from Scotland. This particular Tune Hotel is located in sepang, very near to LCCT airport.

Why stayed in Tune Hotels KLIA-LCCT? basically he is scheduled to take another flight to Kedah the next morning around 7AM, its kind of hassel to take him home, then send him back to LCCT early in the morning. Personally staying in Tune Hotels KLIA-LCCT in this kind of situation  is a good idea.

How much does it cost to stay in Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT? Basically he took the most basic room with Tune Hotel. A queen bed room for double occupancy which cost him and his wife RM100 for just that few hour stay in Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT hotel. RM5 is a must for a deposit.

From what I saw, the Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT room is small, have some small area to move around.

When I browse and tried the Tune Hotel booking, roughly here are the cost breakdown

  • Stay charge RM78.00
  • Service charge RM7.80
  • Service tax RM4.29
  • Admin fee RM 9.90
  • Admin fee tax RM0.50

The RM100 Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT room does not come with the item below, unless you pay for it to enjoy the benefits

  • Air condition (12hrs) RM13.49
  • Air condition (24hrs) RM21.00
  • Breakfast (1set) RM6.00
  • Towel rental + toiletries RM5.00
  • Travel insurance RM6.00
  • Wireless access (24hrs) RM12.00

With all the above additional services in Tune Hotel, it will cost additional RM63.49

If you really just need a place to rest and sleep, all these additional services is not needed. By default the room in Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT is equiped with fan. I’m sure you’ll have a good sleep with the blowing fan sound.

One more thing, the distance from Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT to LCCT airport is roughly between 1 to 2KM, it will cost you RM1.00 for the Tune Hotel shuttel. My Malaysia!

  1. Hi there, thank you for your post on our hotel in KLIA-LCCT Airport.

Thank you for showing the breakdown correctly. Those charges especially the Service Tax, Service Charges are required by law to be charged to the guests. We hope someday this will not be necessary to promote tourism but for now, we will obey the law.

Just to clarify, Tune Hotels.com uses a demand based system of pricing in which the earlier you book your rooms, the cheaper it is much like low cost carriers like Air Asia.

This particular hotel is a transit hotel and hence, the rooms are far more space efficient compared to our hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Kuta & Legian, Bali.

Also, being a transit hotel, we are at full capacity every night with guests from all over the world. Therefore, walk in rates are higher than if you booked online a few weeks earlier. To take advantage of our cheap rates, I encourage you to plan and book ahead.

From 9am to 6pm daily, guests who are in transit and wish to only spend a few hours at the hotel may choose the refresher package at the cost of RM60 nett which includes the towel and air con for a 3 hour stay.

You have incorrectly mentioned the distance of our hotel from the LCCT airport terminal. We are only a 7 minutes walk from the airport and not 1-2 KM as you said.

Guests have a choice to take the RM1 shuttle to the airport should they have a lot of baggage or do not desire the 7 minute walk.

Please do not hesitate to email me should you require any further clarification.

    Thanks & regards,
