Kota Bharu (KB) is the capital of Kelantan. It’s nearly 500 KM drive to Kota Bharu from Kuala Lumpur.

If you look back KB 10 years ago, getting into KB City Center was very easy, as there was not much traffic and cars on the road. At the same time, there weren’t many places to go, as there was limited shopping mall and offices.

Now, it’s totally different. KB has been well developed with better infrastructures its getting much more crowded to get into Kota Bharu especially during public holiday, school holiday, Saturday and Sunday as there are more people coming into KB during that time.

There are a few places that you must visit in KB, before you starts shopping at KB famous Pasar Siti Khadijah do visit the World War II historical places. These entire places are surrounding Istana Balai Besar (The Grand Palace).
