Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2008
September 7th, 2008It’s been a week since the last Merdeka Millennium Race 2008 (MME) is over. Just don’t have the time to update it last weekend. Al maklumlah fasting month was around. To all muslim & muslimah, selamat berpuasa!
Well, I’ve arrived Sepang F1 Circuit around 9.30pm. Personally, I’ve never parked in Sepang F1 Circuit, and not sure which entrance to take. I followed the Sepang Gold Cost way and entered via the PRESS, Media & VVIP entrance gate. The security direct me to the FREE parking space as per advertise.
Before entering the Sepang F1 Circuit Main Grandstand, I was fascinated by the drifting competition organize in one of the Sepang F1 Circuit parking area, nearby the Main Grandstand entrance. It was a superb performance from all the drifters, really gets me excited!
Around 10.15pm, I walked towards the Main Grandstand, stopped by at the concerts organize by PENZOIL.
10:30pm I finally at the Main Grandstand and manage to watch the remaining MME race. The race was great, you can see race cars all over the circuit, fill up with the roaring sound of race car engines and obviously the sound was not as loud as F1 Race.
This was the moment where I can choose where to view the race from; all gates at Main Grandstand are open and accessible. FREE entrance anyway, no tickets are required!
I had a wonderful time watching the MME race and celebrate Merdeka countdown in Sepang F1 circuit.
MME race was divided into, Class O, Class A, Class B and Class C.
