Batik Design Competition – Piala Seri Endon 2010, part of the Malaysia Batik – Crafted for the World movement. It is a batik design competition named after the late YABhg Tun Endon Mahmood.

Through this Batik Design Competition, the late YABhg Tun Endon aimed to provide recognition and exposure to Malaysia’s batik making talent and to encourage higher standards in Malaysia Batik Design.

Batik Design Competition – Piala Seri Endon 2010 open to Malaysia citizen of 18 years of age and above, entry may be by individuals or teams of up to 4 people.

There are 3 categories of Batik Design Competition – Piala Seri Endon 2010

  • Fashion
  • Soft Furnishing
  • Handicraft


The prize for each category of Batik Design Competition – Piala Seri Endon 2010 is the same

  • 1st Prize: RM30,000
  • 2nd Prize: RM10,000
  • 3rd Prize: RM5,000
  • 5 consolation prizes of RM1,000 each

The closing date for Round 1 submission of Batik Design Competition – Piala Seri Endon 2010 competition is 1pm Monday, 19th July 2010
