PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship 2010

Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malysia (PIDM) is a statutory body that protects depositors against the loss of their deposits in the unlikely event of bank failure, as well as promotes and contributes to the stability of the financial system in Malaysia. It is PIDM vision to be a best practice deposit insurer.

The PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship is for aspiring students in need of financial aid to pursue their studies locally.

PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship requirements

• Malaysian citizen
• Under 25 years of age as of 1 Jan 2010
• Full time student
• Good SPM/STPM result with credits in Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Obtained / gained admission to any of the PIDM approved courses
• Obtained / gained admission in college or university in Malaysia which have been approved and accredited by LAN
• Not to be in receipt of any other scholarship, financial aid, or award from any other institutions.
• Not to be in a position financially to take the course without financial help.

• Mathematics (Actuary)

• Insurance

PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship awards

• Up to RM10,000 a year in course fees or actual cost
• Up to RM2,000 in allowances for learning aids – books, computer, stationery & etc per semester or up to RM4,000 per year
• Up to maximum RM6,000 allowance per year or RM500 per month
• Induction programme
• Mentoring and coaching

How to apply for PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship

• Log in to www.pidm.gov.my and download the application form
• or email with your full name, address and contact number to hc@pidm.gov.my. PIDM will them email you the relevant forms.

Please send your completed application form by hand or by post with recent passport-sized photo, certified photocopies of your academic transcript and /or certificates and all relevant documents to reach PIDM no later than 4 June 2010.

Send you PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship application to – The General Manager, Human Capital, (Scholarship Programme), Level 19, 1 Sentral, Jalan Travers, Kuala Lumpur Sentral, 50470 Kuala Lumpur.
