PC Fair 2009
December 8th, 2009 | by amdTaufik |Cant really remember when was the last time I visited PC Fair. Got to know about PC Fair from my fren and wife. The PC Fair was held last Friday from 4th December til 6th December 2009. My wife wanted to to buy external hard disk and some computer accessories. We decided to go there early morning on Satrurday, just to beat out of the crowd!
As always, PC Fair was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center KLCC. We arrived there around 9.30am. Unfortunately the PC Fair was only opened from 11am. When we arrived KLCC, the crowd was very minimal. People starts coming in from 10am, the crowd grew larger. The food court at LG floor of KLCC was so crowded with people visiting PC Fair & school kids was queuing for Aquaria.
We kill our time at Starbuck Coffee, had some breakfast here although we had breakfast at home earlier. Wasted RM35 here.
The organizer makes a bad decision to start PC Fair at 11am, instead of entering PC Fair with less crowd, now I have to push around with the rest of the people.
Parking is really limited in KLCC, but the PC Fair oraganiser provided shuttle buses for those who parked around KLCC area.
We decided to make a move, around 1:30pm, we manage to buy
- Seagate 500Gb HDD with backup software & its accessories for RM300
- 3 4gb Kingston thumbdrive, each for rm31. Some were selling it for RM35, personally I think its expensive. The last time I checked in Low Yatt, it was only RM30
- P1 Wimax connection for RM100
Ohh I never thought i’ll be seeing Courts in PC Fair
