KLIA Ekspres

Another alternative to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is through KLIA Ekspres train services. It only takes 28 minutes non-stop from KL Sentral to KLIA.

KLIA Ekspres has been operating since 14 April 2002. It is equipped with air-conditioned, comfortable contoured seats, a washroom and compartments for your luggage.

Special wheelchair seat compartments have been allocated on board for the disabled.

In KL Sentral do take the advantage of flight check-in and travel services, including free porter services at KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT).

 



Train ticket fees

  • One-way fare
    • Adult: RM35
    • Child (2-12 years): RM15

  • Return fare
    • Adult: RM70
    • Child (2-12 years): RM30
    • Free 1-day parking at KL Sentral Covered Car Park with purchase of Adult Return ticket at KLIA Ekspres Ticket counter. Validation of parking ticket required upon purchase, so please remember to bring along your parking ticket.

 

Train frequency

  • First train: 5:00 AM
  • Last train: 12:00 AM (midnight)
  • Peak hours frequency: every 15 minutes
    • From 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
    • From 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Off-peak hours frequency: every 20 minutes
    • From 9:00AM – 4:00 PM
    • From 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM
