Kuta is the most happening places in Bali. You’ll be walking side by side with tourist from other country as it is populated by tourist. It’s a friendly town.

Kuta is famous for it surfing water sports. You can join them in front of Hard Rock Hotel beach. Surfing boards are provided with minimal charges.

Don’t forget to get your souvenirs here, it’s slightly cheaper here comparing to Ubud. At Ubud your bargaining skills is required to get cheaper price.

Tourist information booth is every where in Kuta. Here you can get free brochures and maps for your own use. You won’t get lost in Kuta.

You can also rent a car or a motorcycle, the charges as below …

  • Car rental / day = RP 160,000
  • Car rental with driver / day (inclusive patrol & parking) = RP 360,000
  • Motorcycle / day = RP 60,000 

 
Discovery Shopping Mall (DSM) is one of the famous shopping mall in Kuta among tourist. Its usually a meeting point and landmark point for tourist.

2 KM away from the right hand side of DSM, you’ll find Yayasan Nur Hasanah mosque. It’s a small mosque, but Friday prayers are perform here.
